August Bank Holiday Weekend

​Bank Holiday Monday is all about the Plum Festival in Pershore, where the town turns purple to celebrate!
While you're at the festival, don’t forget to check out the local shops and places to eat. Pershore has a great mix of options to choose from.
On Bank Holiday Monday, a park-and-ride service is available from Pershore High School and Pershore College to help you avoid town centre traffic during the festival.

Get ready for the highlight of Pershore's summer! 
Pershore is painted purple for the grand finale of our month-long celebrations, the legendary Plum Festival Bank Holiday Weekend.
During Saturday 23rd August to Monday 25th August 2025, our beautiful Georgian town comes alive with a purple, spectacular celebration of our most famous fruit.
Whether you're a foodie, a family, or simply looking for a fantastic Bank Holiday day out, there's something for everyone!

What's on over the Plum Festival Weekend?

Get set for three packed days of fun, food, and festivities across the town. Here are just a few of the highlights you won't want to miss:
💜 A Foodie's Paradise: Explore over 100 stalls in our Bank Holiday Monday Broad St Market. Indulge in everything from plum-themed cakes, chutneys, and ales to delicious street food and artisan produce. Our food village in Abbey Park has most tastes covered!
🎶 Live Music & Entertainment: Soak up the festival atmosphere with live music on the main stage in Abbey Park, showcasing brilliant local bands and performers. You'll also find talented buskers and entertainers throughout the town centre, creating a vibrant soundtrack for your weekend.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Fun Zone: On Sunday and Monday, Abbey Park will be buzzing with activities for all ages. With children's rides, face painting, craft workshops, and family-friendly entertainment, it's the perfect place to make lasting memories.
🚗 Classic & Vintage Cars: Don't miss the hugely popular and stunning classic vehicle display on Bank Holiday Monday located in Abbey Park beside our stunning Pershore Abbey.
