This year's Plum Blossom Sunday takes place on Sunday, 6 July 2025. This has always been the event when we select the junior members of the Plum Festival Team.
Traditionally, we have limited the event to girls, but we want to encourage everyone to get involved in the Pershore Plum Festival, so this year the event will be open to all children between the ages of 8 and 11 as we seek volunteers to join our plum mascots Prunella and Egbert in their Plum Posse.
Prunella, Egbert, and the Plum Posse are responsible for welcoming visitors to the Plum Festival Events throughout August.
We are looking for young people who want to get involved in their community and have the confidence to chat to visitors, hand out information and generally make everyone feel welcome. If you know someone between the ages of 8 and 11 who would like to get involved in the Pershore Plum Festival 2025, please ask them to apply.
Applicants must be available from 21 – 25 August 2025 as a minimum. There will be other events that they can get involved in too.
The deadline for applications is Friday 20 June 2025.
