Plum Blossom Sunday takes place on Sunday, 7 July 2024. This has always been the event when we select the junior members of the Plum Festival Team. Traditionally we have limited the event to girls but we want to encourage everyone to get involved in Pershore Plum Festival so this year the event will be open to all children between the ages of 8 and 11 as we seek volunteers to join our plum mascots Prunella and Egbert in their Plum Posse.
Prunella and Egbert and the Plum Posse are responsible for welcoming visitors to the Plum Festival Events throughout August. We are looking for young people who want to get involved in their community and have the confidence to chat to visitors, hand out information and generally make everyone feel welcome. If you know someone between the ages of 8 and 11 who would like to get involved in Pershore Plum Festival 2024, application forms are below. Applicants must be available from 22 – 26 August 2024 as a minimum. There will be other events that they can get involved in too.
