Things to do in Pershore

Even when there’s nothing special, you’ll find many independent shops offering a unique shopping vibe. If you want to treat yourself, swing by valeandspa.co.uk to see what’s in store.

Of course, everyone knows Pershore for its beautiful Abbey, but there’s much more to explore!

You can
  1. Stroll along the River Avon and listen to the cuckoos, look for the heron and feed the ducks
  2. Kick a footie, or grab a poke of chips on King George's playing field and watch the canal boats and ducks on the river
  3. Grab a picnic, and check out the historic bridge site - parking is free all year round
  4. Wander through the Avon Meadows Wetland Nature Reserve and check out the local wildlife
  5. Take a walk in Pershore's Abbey Park. There's a memorial garden, community orchard, kids play area, skatepark, water play area, open grass, meadow area and lots of shrubs and greenery to enjoy
  6. Heritage Centre - based in the Pershore Town Hall, which is on the high street, the centre has over 2,000 sq ft of wall and floor displays about Pershore
  7. Visit Pershore College, which is just outside the town centre. Not just a place of learning, this is where locals grab some plants at the garden centre, play tennis and enjoy a drink of Pershore College Juice and Cider. Cheers!
  8. Visit the Number 8 Community Arts Centre, and watch a film, play or take in an art exhibition
  9. Buy some unique gifts and items from the shops on and around the high street
  10. Have some food and drink at one of the many restaurants, pubs and coffee shops around the Georgian Town.

There's so much to do that you might want more than a day to see and do it all. For more info on attractions and places to stay in and around Pershore, visit visitpershore.co.uk.
