Soft Drink Catering Information for 2018
The Plum Festival committee would like to thank all 2017 exhibitors for their support and contribution to last years fantastically successful event . We enjoyed record numbers of people attending (approx. 25,000 throughout the weekend) with extensive positive feedback for all aspects of the Festival through many avenues, including TV, press and social media.
None of this would have been possible without YOU – the exhibitors and traders that make this Multi Award Winning festival what it is year after year.
We pride ourselves on the diversity of the catering available and for that purpose we would like to invite you to be part of the 2018 event .
Applications to provide catering (to include hot/cold food; hot/cold drinks; specialist alcoholic beverages) are now open.

As the popularity of the event grows, the demand for catering stalls is also increasing, therefore for 2018, to encourage a much fairer distribution of space and to maintain a wide variety of plum related food and drinks - we are introducing a tender application process.
In the hope of winning the tender for your soft drink business, successful candidates will be chosen upon their merits.
All applicants must read the guidance notes containing the terms and conditions to ensure no one experiences any “unexpected surprises” over the course of the Festival!” To view these, click here
The deadline for applications is Friday 27 April and the decision of the Plum Festival committee is final. All applicants will be notified of our decision no later than Friday 18 May.
Please note that this tender is primarily for the Plum Festival Food Village located on Abbey Park on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 August - however, in the event of unsuccessful Food Village applicants still wanting to exhibit at the Festival – other satellite catering opportunities may be available at other locations in the town throughout the weekend. Please let us know in the comments box at the end of the form if you wish to be considered for these opportunities.
Advice - as this is an outdoor event, the organising committee strongly encourage exhibitors to consider obtaining weather insurance in case of inclement weather condition with may affect trade.
Applicants who wish to attend both days should be aware that security is provided overnight between Sunday and Monday.
