SILVER JUBILEE PLUM ROYALTY CHOSEN
The Silver Jubilee Plum celebrations in Pershore begun this weekend with the crowning of the 2023 Plum Princess and her attendants.
A packed Plum Blossom Sunday event took place at the Angel Hotel with entertainment provided by Laura Fullelove and Eve Meuz.
Following a very close run competition with some outstanding entries, Daisy Lawes aged 8 who attends Cropthorne with Charlton C of E First school was crowned the 2023 Plum Princess. Her attendants for the year will be Emily Savage from Orchard Primary School and Ariadne Abbot from Crowle C of E School, both aged 8.
The newly crowned plum royalty will be attending events throughout August in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Pershore Plum Festival.
